Memphis Brooks Museum Entryway - 8x8
Cyanotype print on fawn Stonehenge archival paper. Image is a photograph of the original entryway at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art (Overton Park property). Image size approximately 8x8 inches, not including exposed edges. Signed and dated.
Cyanotype is a photographic process in which a light-sensitive chemical solution is painted onto paper, allowed to dry, and then exposed in direct sunlight. Objects or film negatives placed directly on the surface of the treated paper form the image. Cyanotypes are permanent, though the blue may change over time, depending upon the conditions in which the work is displayed.
Image is unframed and ships flat.
